Karis acquired and developed a 40-acre site in Rock Hill, South Carolina, delivering the first speculative cold storage facility in the greater Charlotte region. The project was designed to meet growing demand for modern temperature-controlled industrial space while providing operational flexibility for a range of cold-chain users.
Execution: The facility was thoughtfully designed to support efficient operations at scale, featuring convertible freezer space, 50-foot clear heights, and a highly efficient loading configuration with 28 dock doors. The site layout includes ample trailer and vehicle parking to support high-volume throughput and reliable day-to-day operations.
